Generally speaking, if you can read it, it's not about you. (Unless it's neutral or positive, in which case it might be.)
My official assumption for other people's DJs is that if I can read it, it's not about me. So if you're upset with me, that's not the best way to tell me about it (and will result in me being unhappy, if that bothers you). Unofficially, of course, I'm as paranoid as everyone else.
PS. If you start a reasoned argument about something I've said here, I may join in, but please bear in mind that that's not what I'm here for, and I may not feel like defending myself - this is where I can rant and be irrational, emotional and rhetorical, and I find it very useful to have somewhere to do that where I'm not going to be attacked for it. (Having said that, I do realise I'm still accountable for my opinions and will try to behave that way.) |
